Sadeh Summer Camp. Sadeh, the Jewish farm in Orpington, cultivates community, grows food, and sows the seeds of change. Through the rich and diverse heritage of Jewish farming, Sadeh expresses these values by engaging and reconnecting Jews with their traditions. This year, Sadeh founder Talia Chain and community members, educator, Alexander Antoniou; mindfulness expert, Gidon Fineman and foraging finest, Alex Sylvester will be running their first summer camp from 30 July to 2 August for ages 5-11. Each day will have a special guest: Monday: David the Bee Man; Tuesday: Anne the Israeli Circle Dancer; Wednesday: Joel the Baker; and Thursday: Shhh! It’s a secret! The Annual Commemoration of the liquidation of the Gypsy Camp in Auschwitz on 2 August 1944 and the murder of up to one and a half million Roma will take place on 2 August 2018 at the Holocaust Memorial in Hyde Park from 12 noon.

Bromley Wizo Eretz have arranged for a tour of the CZeck Memorial Scrolls, which are housed in the Memorial Scrolls museum in the Westminster Synagogue. The tour will take place on Thursday 6 September (meet 1-45 for a 2-00 p.m. start. It Is limited to 20 people, but if it is oversubscribed, another tour can be arranged. Donation £12-50.
