*the Rabbi’s discretionary fund – a confidential fund enabling our community to look after each other by supporting other financially, particularly at difficult economic times such as this. It is administered by Rabbi Laura in consultation with Dan Posner and Dianne Matthews to ensure both confidentiality but also oversight. As well as supporting other members through particular economic pressures, this year they have already been allocations from the discretionary fund to members (including but not exclusively with children in the household) who are at risk of being both hungry and cold this winter. This fund is available to all of our members knowing that savings and earnings and pensions are going to be under enormous stress this winter.
Please be in touch with Rabbi Laura if you have any questions and also if you would like to donate or are concerned about someone else or, of course, yourself at this time.
